Been awhile!!! SO much new exciting details await!

So I am very sorry to let this Blog go as I have had many other things that where a little more important to deal with and to take care of before I could get back into training, true training!

Well along the way of last year I have bumped into in a new diet called Paleo diet or primal diet, it has given me a whole new view of what I really thought a good diet was. Beverly Myers is a lady that has been doing this diet for 30 years and gives very good advice on this diet but it is a very hard diet to stick with because of all the foods the grocery store provides and how expensive organic food is.
But it has changed my running forever! in a very good way as well. I would say I am the leanest and most fit I have ever been in.

So a lot has changed in my way of running and also even training. I was in AZ last year with track and field and I have made some new PR's but I never really felt like I was strong or really that fit because I was tired and could not improve drastically like I have now.
I moved back to Utah and have been training for just a couple of months with some of my own training and doing long distance runs such as 20 miles every other week. But one day I was almost done with my 20 mile and I ran into my old high school coach and I talked to him for a good 10 or so minutes and I decided to have him coach me again and within a week of him coaching me and my own training I was able to run a half marathon in 1:10:38!!!!! a P.R. by 3 minutes since I have ran PF changs in AZ. Unbelievable!

And just last Sat I ran a Church ward 5k that was just a fun run and I ended up running 15:14 which is another P.R. for this altitude! I will put the short video of my coach filming my form and race.
